On Thursday, October 16th the Daily Bulletin wrote an article about Christine Chavez who is the district director for State Senator Gloria Romero. She is part of the Get Up Vote Down 4 & 8 campus campaign. This campaign is targeting college students and the Latino community. They are traveling to 30 major cities by Election Day. She is not sitting on her duff nor should we.

What can you do? Glad you asked. Email friends and family. Talk with friends and family. Write a letter to the editor. Get a yard sign. Talk to your church about having signs and literature available. If you can organize a Bunco night you can do this. We as Christians HAVE to move on this. Over 60% of the voters in California voted for the same wording in Prop. 22 in 2000. We are not in the minority but the majority.
