I have not been able to write for a few days because I needed to catch my breath after these elections. Especially on election day my stomach was in knots. Then my very wise friend from across the street shared with me something she heard on Sunday at her church.
No matter who wins the election - God is still on the throne. Whoa! Peace washed over me.
Whether or not you agree with the outcome of the presidential election God is in control and we just need to pray for His guidance over this new president. The Bible is full of stories of Kings whose hearts were softened and sometimes even hardened for God's purposes. Remember Moses and Pharaoh?
He can handle this mess in our nation. Our job is to pray and stand up for what we believe.
